Acer set to buy Gateway |

HP and Dell must be a little worried about today’s announcement. Acer plans on purchasing Gateway for a sum of $720 million US Dollars. This would make Acer the #3 Computer Vendor in the world moving Lenovo to the #4 slot. Which is sad considering Lenovo purchased IBM’s PC line to compete in the market.
With Acer’s marketing and branding it might not be long before we see major changes to the entire computer industry.
