    Successes in Radio Adverts

Anyone have any successes in radio advertising online? I've never tried it, but it sounds interesting. The only bad part is, that you are connecting with the listener one on one, and google can't index a sound commercial. So, you are spending money on a temporary ad that gets no long term effects.

Buying textlinks, however, is much different. Still, anyone see any success with this?

Yes that is true but a lot of internet radio sites also include the option for a text or banner link on there main page. Since the stations usualy have a lot of visitors the sites usualy rank around PR4+. I also advertised a previous site on netwavz radio and was very satisfied with the results.

This method is something new to me. I never heard about it before and I am interested to know more. Do we have to pay for using this service?

I think this isn't a realy good method.
The listeners must remember the URL and then typ it in the browser.
With a backlink, it's just 1 click and they get on the site.
So I would never promote on a radio.

when you purchase adspace on a radio site it often includes a text or banner link so listeners dont need to memorize the url. I have used this method before and I think it was rather effective, the site ran my add around six times a day and included a pr5 link! for around $50 a month.

@HITMAN Did you get a decent conversion rate from the traffic you got, and was it worth the money overall?
